Hello everyone! My name is Rhishika and I’m a student primarily and a writer and avid lover of books and stories!
My love and passion for writing is what has driven me to search through different websites and stumble across Medium. That being said, I have no idea what I’m doing here other than the idea of writing my stories and thoughts here.
So this first post, I’m just going to pour my thoughts out. That being said I have no idea where to start. I guess I’ll start by explaining wherefrom I got the idea to blog.
Well, apart from blogging being the new ‘hip’ thing and writers of all backgrounds flocking to blogging, I had the curiosity about it about 5–6 years ago. It was from one of the stories I had read, where (don’t judge too soon), the protagonist was an anonymous blogger and had used her medium to vent about her horrible day and the rude people she encountered. Long story short, the start of an awesome love story(don’t judge, a girl can only dream and read!). Anyway, I was fascinated with the concept of blogging since then, and had always meandered over to different websites to see if it would be something that I would be interested in.
Anyway, after many years of pondering and testing out whether I was actually good in writing, did I actually finally pluck up the courage to start with blogging. The content I have in mind might be slightly different from what is usually found here, I think, but since I am a creative writer i.e. writing books and stories is my passion, therefore my ideas and stories might make it here. No idea if I actually stick with my guts and not desert this site soon, but I can only try and see.
